You have to go down a rural road about four miles before the turnoff to our property is available. It is a narrow gravel road that you cannot drive up without somebody hearing you approaching from the house. The house sits back off of the road about a half mile in. We have four-wheel drive vehicles to get in and out in the winter. It is remote yet beautiful. Its remoteness is exactly why we have an ADT security system. No, it is not so much to notify the police as it is to notify us and our neighbor who is a relative. As a model, I’m fortunate in that I get to try on all the latest styles as they hit the runway. I am one of the first people to try on a garment after it is produced. It’s a really exciting feeling. The last show I was in was really unique. The designer is a good friend of mine, and he wanted each of the models to wear a shamballa bracelet as they walked down the runway.
