Life Doesn’t End with Cancer
I am a cancer survivor and while I am happy to be alive, the chemo therapy that saved me actually left my body in a different state than before I had the cancer treatments. I lost all of my hair and I was really happy to see that I didn’t have to shave my legs every morning. I tried to look at the good side of things as that was one of the only things that could keep me going. hair extensions, for example, made the fact that I lost my hair okay and I felt much better when I looked in the mirror and saw that I could have long hair after I started to grow little buds of hair on my head. Having a great sense of humor made me feel so much better about everything that I was going through.
